The American Journal of Translational Research (www.ajtr.org,
ISSN 1943-8141) is an open access online journal dedicated to
publication of original work and review articles of translational
research in medicine. The goal of AJTR is to provide a barrier-free
forum for rapid dissemination of novel discoveries in translational
research of medical science.
AJTR is primarily devoted to original clinical and experimental
research papers, but will also publish editorials, review articles,
hypothesis, letters to the editors and meeting reports in
translational science. For the currently accepted and committed
papers, please visit contents. For manuscript submission, please
follow the journal’s guidelines and visit submission. All
manuscripts submitted to AJTR will be peer-reviewed and
published online within one months after acceptance.
AJTR was officially launched in January, 2009 with four issues
published at this time. The first issue of volume 2 is in progress
and more are coming. AJTR has already been accepted for
indexing in PubMed and full text archiving in PubMed Central
(PMC). AJTR is also indexed in NLM, DOAJ, EMBASE and Google
Scholar.
